Issues

Education

"I want to ensure that Florida has a world class public education system by returning to some founding principles like recognizing that Public Education is the cornerstone of our society. One my primary goals is to raise Florida funding from #46 to the top ten so that schools and teachers have the tools they need to meet our primary mission of educating the next generation of Floridians."

Housing

"I will work with colleagues to throw our families a lifeline. Our families are working two or three jobs just to pay the rent. They need a well-paying job with a liveable wage. We assure that states can provide affordable childcare, clear the path for homeownership with special attention to veterans as a way of making sure those families know how much we appreciate their sacrifices."

ENVIRONMENT

"As your Representative I will continue to fight for our environment. I will protect our springs, fight senseless pollution and lead the push for renewable resources. We do this by reducing the use of fossil fuels while increasing renewable energy, making Florida a leader in solar energy, increasing protection of our water systems, and reducing our reliance on single-use products."

Justice

"Ensure the will of the people by advocating for Amendment 4, legalize cannabis, rehabilitate the incarcerated, demand stronger gun safety laws, end Florida's addiction to incarceration, reform the current bail system, and eliminate structural systems that lead to an unequal and unjust administration of justice that seems to favor only the well-heeled."
