Gainesville native Yvonne Hayes-Hinson, a retired educator and a former Gainesville city commissioner, is on the hunt for US House District 3, currently held by Republican Congressman Ted Yoho.
Hayes-Hinson said she is seeking office because she can’t sit idle knowing there is so much to be done. She said government should improve people’s lives, and she wants to do that for her district.
